It is a common practice in rural India to abandon old cows after they cease to produce milk. Despite providing for the livelihood of their owners for the most part of their lives, these cows are left to starve and die, during their dry period. Join our campaign to save these sacred animals
GAURANGA GOSHALA TAKES CARE OF ABANDONED COWS IN THEIR OLD AGE
THESE COWS WOULD OTHERWISE BE STARVING TO DEATH OR SOLD TO SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
Gauranga Goshala was started with an only aim to rescue abandoned cows and provide them with enough food and shelter. So far the caretakers at Gauranga Goshala have been able to rescue over 8 cows and calves and are steadily moving towards adopting 20 more cows. However, they need support for the maintenance of these cows.
THEY NEED YOUR HELP TO PROVIDE FOOD AND SHELTER TO THESE COWS
You can be a part of this noble cause by donating towards their basic necessities like fodder and building materials for shelter.
BE PART OF A MEANINGFUL CAMPAIGN – THE PANCHABHAVYA CHIKITSA CENTRE
Every product that you add to cart as part of this campaign will be used towards building a panchakarma goshala, where the cows will not just be taken care of but also be celebrated again.
The Goshala which is presently under construction is located 6 km away from the hub of Mumbai city and is working towards raising awareness and providing certified medical treatments to various ailments using gomaya and gomutram (cow dung and urine), which are considered far more benefical than the milk itself.
SAVE THE LIVES OF THESE SACRED ANIMALS AND RESTORE THEIR HONOR
